Question

Hello there!

I use a blastbot IR controller to control my samsung tv. I noticed that i can use labels in vd. How can I get the label to show the last tv state(on/off). I tried using a global variable but with no succes. Does anyone have any ideas?

create global with name "tvIcon"

in VD button channel

local selfId = fibaro:getSelfId();
local jT      = json.decode(fibaro:getGlobalValue("HomeTable"))
fibaro:call(selfId, "setProperty", "currentIcon", jT.icon.RTL5)---- this give channel RTL5-icon
fibaro:call(selfId, "setProperty", "ui.lblZender.value", "RTL5")---- the name of the channel RTL5

local icon = fibaro:getValue(selfId, "currentIcon");
fibaro:setGlobal("tvIcon", icon)
