How do I change the default local admin passwords on HCL? I go to Acces Control, choose user "admin", then click on "Change e-mail and password". Then i receive very confusing "update account" form. I try everything, but no success. What needs to be typed here?

@Nenad Batocanin, please check if HC date is not 1970.

 

Registration form is not confusing, it is simple registration form as on many websites. Just  add your email and new password and after that copy code from your mail to HC field for verification code. Then it is complete.

 

Then your email will become login (instead of admin; please note, that login window is case sensitive).

    I solved the problem with Fibro support, and yes: the problem is in my HCL device: the year is 1970, probably because of a defective battery (Unix zero date?). I will return it to the seller (this is new device).

    For form clarity, I disagree: it's not clear that mail will be used as a new local username. Also, the ADD button is unsuitable for the CHANGE of the password. Of course, the biggest problem is that in my case the form does not give *any* error, they just ignore the click on ADD button.

    In my case, we try to set different NTP server if it's get OK. Did setting of new NTP server not helped?

     

    In CZ it helped me in 95% of the cases. Other 5% was different issue.
