Ligyt sensivity, not actual

Sjakie

Question

Hi Guys,

Since a few days my two motion sensors, light intensity, is not acurate.

In the winter I saw by sunrise th evalue comming up slowly mostly one lux at the time till around 20 lux and then it gives bigger steps.

Now I see, because our lights stays on, that it give the value of 1 or 2 lux and keeps it for more than one hour and suddenly it jumps to 16 or 40 lux.

At this moment sunrise 07.15 lux level outside around 300 lux inside still 1-2 lux

 Sensor1                                          07.49                            2000                          16

Sensor2                                                                                                                    13

                                                           08.24                                                            same

On both the battery level is 100% according battery check VD

What to do to get it back on track?

Please login or register to see this image.

for example

but: be careful

too much sensitive value

1) can draining a battery

2) SPAM your z-wave network and as a result of this - z-wave network delays

IMHO

  • Hi 10der@,

I did not changed anything! Since installation the light sensitivity was working great. I created two different scenes, one for the morning and one for the evening because of the difference in being dark to switch light on.

Why the behavior now is so different, actually slow!, is bothering me.

The parameter you showed is a default and mine is the same.
