Siren activation for FIbaro Alarm

I have a siren and I want it to be activated when the alarm breached. The siren shown in system as on/off switch (controlled device Other)

 

Is there any default way to set this actuator as a system siren?

 

In the Alarm panel i can configure some predefined scenes like PANIC, LIGHT ON, etc. but i cant select siren as actuator (because of Other category)

If I set surenb to Lights category - that would be not good, if u select turn on all lights - siren will be turned on also.

 

So, how to do? To write new scene and add it as new alarm action? Or there is another way?

 

UPD. After I added the scene as new alarm action and press Save button - 503 error. Services crashed

    @10der so anyway You have to turn it on from LUA by yourself?

    Thats not should be like that. If you set cintrolled device Alarm - Breach its about system to turn On and Off the siren.

    Need to fix this

    Now all is cool and I can select siren in devices

    @jack.daniels could you, please collaborate a little on that last part? Is it possible for me to modify setting to be able to choose my siren as an actor for the alarm (panel)?

    For now, its only pissible to select lightings (binary switch and multy-level switch) as actor. Even when I bypass the device selection by celaring Properties in databese, its still ignoring those non-isLighting actor when running Lights ON  predefined scene (for now, may be I will find a way)

    Same question at the same time (activate Aeon Labs siren when alarm breached) ....

     

    No lua for my because of the HCL.

     

    Tried everything with a scene who put on the siren.

     

    And add this scene into the actions when alarm go on in the alarme panel.

     

    But i'm unable to do this. heeeelp :D

     

    NB : only the magic scenes support the state of alarm as a trigger, but i want to use a block scene.

    turn ON sirene - create new scene with some unusable trigger (scene will be triggered manually)::

    Dont forget to check checkbox in the header of the scene:

    "Add action", select this scene in the list and activate this scene in Alarm panel:

    Turn OFF sirene - when one of the security deviced is disarmed:
    PIR = some security devices (PIR, magnet, etc.)

    EDIT : works with any button of my NodON remote as a trigger....

     

    Now will try your scene for auto off siren.

    *Do everything and nothing appens when alarm go on :(

     

    For the moment I chose a light to avoid wakup childrens. She work perfecly manually, but not with the scene. Even I clic on the play button of scene.

     

    Turn crazy, many hours for a simple conf like this.

    @dobsovicj Automatic siren off when alarm disarmed --> how to seteup the variable "SirenON" and "RunAlarmScene" ?

    The onlt working way so far (without making any scenes I mean): to set Controlled device  for siren = Lights, then use predefined scene (PANIC oe LIGHT ON) and select your siren there

    Tested and works for me. But next time You will press turn ON all the lights - siren will be also ON :)

    @jack.daniels Ha ha ha, yes, prefer avoid this :D . Fibaro think @alarm plugin, but the support of siren, or sell physical siren, or support third party :D

    @dobsovicj Ok for the siren ON ! Now can you tell me if the pre config of variable is OK to be integrated in the final scene  ?

    Hello @jack.daniels .

     

    Any idea about building the scene for auto switch off Siren when the system is disarmed ? (without Lua)

     

    For now the siren integration is OK.

     

    A tiny 4 x 110 db when the system is breached, let's rock !  :D

     

    Auto of when alarm disarmed = the final stage ! :D

    Ok this two scenes (siren go on when alarm breached, go off when alarm disarmed) seems to work... most of time :D

    Hello. If i don't make a mistake, this trigger is only available in the magic scene (why ? we must ask fibaro...).

     

    And here, does't work for me to turn off my two sirens :(

     

    Anyway I think something is wrong with my scenes since update 4.540 .

     

    The behavior of most of my scenes is totally random, even all of the scene who worked perfecly before.

     

    Even a simple scene like this does't work anymore :
