Run Scene via gateway connection

Question

Posted
Question: How can one HC2 ("Master") start a scene on another HC2 ("Slave")?

Want to do this so there is minimum time delays when changing settings on a number of devices at one time. For instance, "Away" scene on master will trigger "Away" scene on the slave and they will then run in parallel until all changes have been made.

Have tried to implement this in two ways but neither is working? Can anyone spot a mistake?

Option 1: Using a scene
--[[
%% properties
%% events
%% globals
--]]

local url = "

";
local httpClient = net.HTTPClient();

httpClient:request(url, {
    options={
      headers =  {
        ['Authorization'] = 'Basic 12345678asadfASAG' --Base64 encoded username:password
        }
    },
    success = function(status)
      print("Success: "..status.status);
      if status.status == 200 then
        print("Data: "..status.data);
      else
        print("Failed: "..status.status);
      end
    end,
    error = function(error)
      print("ERROR: "..error)
    end
})

Option 2: Using a VD
VD settings: IP 127.0.0.1, port: 11111

Button code (string format):

GET /api/sceneControl?id=1&action=start HTTP/1.1
Host: slaveURL
Authorization: Basic 12345678asadfASAG

Not answering your question unfortunately, but this  would help me resolve my question to.

Similar situation rebooting all  installations controllers without having to enter them individually.
