Garage and gate door control

Question

Anybody uses Fibaro Roller shutter 2 to control garage or gate door?

I have several FGR222 free and I thought that I will be able to control my Horman garage and gate motors but it seems that nobody uses it.

Here I found only explanation how to use Fibaro SWITCH to do that.

@dpopovic The thing is most gates and garage doors come with controllers already that only require a dry contact  switched to operate.

So roller shutters features therefore are not required. A simple relay switch suites the job better.

  • I understand this but I already have 4xRoller Shutter devices which claims to do that.

Now I need to throw them away and buy new switches.
