Question

Posted

If I filter a date between 23 June 2018 and 25 June 2018 the event panel gives no results.

Where are the logs and how can I retrieve this data. It's important, because a burglar entered my house in this period.

Thanks in advance, Etienne

Hi @et1961 ,

Your question actually should be: For how long Home Center keeps logs in the event panel before start rewriting them with newer ones?

As I can see from your post you are trying to retrieve events almost a year old. It is possible that they are lost. Why did you wait for so long to get them from HC2?

A year ago, directly after the burgaly, I made some screenshots. But on these screenshots you can't see the date, only the times of the events. Now the police needs this date, because there is a discussion between one of the suspects they want to bring in court about the date of the crime.

Obviously the recorded events are not saved, and that's a big disappointment, bcos I thought these logs are available anytime....

Do you have any backups?  Maybe the back up stores events ?? You could try to load any from that date and look through it , remember to make a new backup before you do anything .

Havn't done this so not sure..
