[Question] Reading mobile device status

Hi,

I try to get to fibaro 2 parameters from an android device:

• if device is on call
• battery status

I tried to google it but nothing was found even close to these needs. I suppose it required a 3rd party software to perform this.

The reason for these two parameters are

1. I like to start/stop a scene if device is on call (stop music, pause video etc) 

2. send a popup if battery is full charged or battery level is less than 15%

 

Does anyone knows a software to perform that ?

I am a step closer using tasker, which is paid and only available for android. When mobile is on home wifi network will post status every hour to fibaro API. When mobile is off hook, will also change a variable on fibaro.

That is nice as my mobile is an android device, but thinking people with iOS is not fair. So do Apple device owners have any idea about an alternative of Tasker to iOS?

IMHO, Fibaro could provide this info from their application, embedding this kind of interaction with Fibaro <-- @T.Konopka will you forward this request, on developer team? It is above and beyond what other products provide.

I have with Kodi the app Yatse incl the plugins

when movie played en phone goes of it stops the movie

when Watchapp mess then it put it on the tv

nice! Still I have other media devices like chromecasts, smart tv that I need to control so a native solution from fibaro could be a gift from heaven!

Another good point! I suppose it requires also hardware. I think when phone ringing /off-hook voltages are different on landline. Putting my mind on a worst scenario, burglars cut the landline. Good point for thoughts
