the heat kills my fibaro

Question

Posted (edited)

Now that the summer has come and then my HC2 starts to behave strangely. CPU  up to 100%.

How hot can HC2 become before it can be damaged?

normally all depends on air circulation, case size/type (well, here is nothing you can do, except to remove left or right plate from HC2),  etc.

But let's the mainboard specs itself, it can handle lot of heat:

however, with passive design like HC2, here with Morex T-1620 thin-mITX (plastic):

can work up to 55° inside the enclosure, for the next MTBF 319009 hours.

My HC2 runs at 50° inside (air mounted sensor, over z-wave pcb), 35° outside (case mounted sensor on the back side of HC2)
and current/always constant air temp of 21° in my room, where the HC2 itself is inside/on teak wooden rack, with bad air circulation, between other always-on devices (this is why i mounted once sensors).

EDIT: i have lot of traffic, 100 frames per minute, lot of modules/scenes/VDs, but only 30% load, so something is wrong with your system.
