chain window opener fibaro 223

Hi everybody

 

I'm a newbie with Fibaro and aim using Fibaro 223 relay to open a motorized window fitted with a chain window opener. I used this kind of relay on 7 roller shutters without any problem but unfortunately this seems to be not working with the electric window opener...

I tried to test it by using a Fibaro 222 relay and that is working... unfortunately it's not a clean solution as I can't have window positioning and have to switch on and off the 2 relays on 222 every time I want to have the window opened or closed

 

any ideas on what could be the issue and way forward?

Hello,

maybe I dont understand your current situation... You have to put here the model of the motorized window, curcuit of devices, etc. 
Generaly, you have to use Fibaro roller shutter for shutters, blinds, etc. (not Fibaro relay...)

Hi,

I use a Fibaro FGS-223 Roller Shutter 3 to drive my Liwin L25 chain motor...apparently I solved the main issue (allowing the movement) by disabling the Power threshold to be interpreted as reaching a limit switch... unfortunately I still didn't manage to allow the positioning detection

First - did you try calibration of Fibaro roller shutter?

If yes, did you try to change controlled device settings:
(try all options...)

I have an experiences with window opener from another producer and it wasn´t possible to manage positioning, only open/close...
