Unable to connect Danalock V3

Hi,

 

I can get the Danalock included to my HC2.

 

I put the HC2 in inclusion an marked the option add in security mode, also without this it wouldn’t work.

 

I do a single click in the little hole on the Danalock to set it in inclusion mode, but to inclusion to my HC2.

 

also tried with the Danalock app and choose the option to add the lock by Z-Wave, also this doesn’t function. (See screenshots)

 

I run the latest HC2 software (not beta) and Dnalock firmware 0.9.6

who can help me? I have this Danalock for months now but can’t get it added to my HC2.

I'm just busy for buying the Danalock also. ( I need special adjustable connection between my AVVA cilinder to KESO) If that is arranged I buy it. 

Already did some homework how to connect and saw this youtube video. Did you try this also?

Hello,

Just got my lock a day ago. Have tried multiple times, every time differently. Lock updated to the 0.11 SW version, HC2 is running v4.540.

I managed to connect the lock to the HC2 and make it working this way: locate the lock within 1m from the HC2, in the Danalock application go to Smart Home - Z-wave - connect, on the HC2 tap the ADD button next to the ADD THE LOCK option. This is important, because following the way in the video the lock is included but not operational.

Now it is connected and I can lock and unlock it BUT:

1. HC shows the device as "not configured" (same on the video)

2. HC compains on the battery level all the time

3. I can operate the lock from the Web interface, but not from the mobile application..

 

So it seems like the new v3 support is not yet mature... Have anyone contacted Fibaro/Danalock support?

Try to reconfigure the lock. This might help

I got same problem with 2 new danalock

Could you please advice how to to that?

There is manual for update, but where previous firmware could be taken?

I recieved my Danalock today. And I had not much problems with adding to HC2.

 

In the Danalock app - Settings - Smarthome

Then select Z-Wave

after this it will ask connect.

 

In HC2 go adding devices.

only select - Add in security mode if device supports it

Select add

Sellect Connect in the Danalock app

 

After this I had the Danalock into my HC2.

 

So nothing with pushing button on danalock all with app and the HC2

 

(note: first time I had located far from HC2 selected and that going wrong. Delete the unknown device.) 

Did the thing above (wait after HC2 and Danalock find each other ) after 1 or 2min. all settings and the lock was there.

@mihaz ask danalock support for help to downgrade.

Otherwise try to use the Danalock Germany app on the App store on iOs.

It worked for me to downgrade

No way to get it working, tried everything I can think of.

 

Danalock V3, firmware version 0.11.0

HC2 firmware version 4.544

I added the Danalock as follows:

• First setup Danalock with BlueTooth for get it to work in the Danalock app;
• Physically move the Danlock close to the HC2;
• Use 'Add Lock" option, press the little button on the Danalock, Lock will flash green and after a while the Lock is added;
• Remember, there is no template, but you can add the parameters to the HC2;
• So, all seems ok, but the response is slow if I put the Danalock further away from the HC2 (there a 2 mains operated Fibaro rollershutters nearby and I expected that they relay the signal back to the HC2 as a hub);
• I tried reconfiguring the z-wave network, no luck;
• I physically moved the HC2 closer to the Danalock (about 5m), now response is ok. So I guess that direct connection to the HC2 is needed, but that is just an assumption
