username and password won't save

Why will this not save in my scene

 

local username = "0"
local password = "0"

local test1 = "&username="..username
local test2 = "&password="..password

local test = test1..test2

fibaro:debug(test)

 

 

if i change "&password"=..password to "&passwordd"=..password it works

 

as if &username and &password can't be placed in one sentis

Dear all, I have the same problem. I have asked the fibaro Netherlands and they cannot or will not answer. is it a protection provided by fibaro or by LUA. does anyone know how you can bypass this protection. Kind regards, Wim

Strangely enough above code works for me on my HC2 with 4.550 in VD code same as in scene code and of course is saved without problem.

hi sankotronic, can you indicate which HC2 software version you have saved the program with. It may be that if you have saved the VD and scene during an earlier version of HC2, it will still work as normal, but if you want to save with te latest version, it's no longer posibble.

Added new VD and scene on FW 4.550, copied above code and tested working OK.
