Scenes stop working

Question

Posted

I have a Hcl.

Only have 3 scenes which were working fine, but lately they haven’t been. When I restart my controller thy are fine for about a day and then stop again.

After a restart, when I hit the play button on the scene it says scene triggered and then works,  after a day or so, when I hit the play button the button changes state but it doesn’t say scene triggered. The only way to get them to wok again is power cycle the hcl.

Any ideas as to why this would happen?

Thankyou.

Hello,

I see this today, I try to reboot et now the scenes works again... So that's mean tomorrow I will have the same issue ? I have Fibaro Home 2 lite and you ?

I have updated 2 days ago on 4.550 so this bug is only on this version ?

Thanks Fibaro team to help us

Which devices are the scenes connected with? If this happened after the latest firware update, you can try soft reconfiguration of the affected device.

You can also try database cleanup. Click this energy reset button in the Home Center interface (Configuration TAB > General).

@K.DrozynskiFor me it’s everything, dimmers, relays and virtual devices. I basically had an all off triggered from my alarm arming.

Just did what you suggested (Reset energy data) and now my scenes are working again.

i just saw in another post that fibaro are aware of this issue, hopefully it can be solved soon.

@Abacus, Glad that it helped with the problem. if this happened after the latest update, inaccurate records was accumulated and it needed correction. If no update was involved, I'd say that system stored too much historical data in RAM.

@K.Drozynski Does that mean my scenes will keep working now or will I have to keep resetting the energy data? I’m pretty sure it started after the last update.
I will check again in the morning and see if they work.

Thanks for your help with this.

Your scenes should work correctly now. However, if this keeps repeating, I suggest contacting technical support: [email protected]. You will be provided with an

individual case number and the technicians may want to check your system configuration. Regards.
