Dimmer Installation, Wall or ceiling (uk)

Question

Posted

What's the pro's the con's in installing the module behind the light switch or in the ceiling above the light fitting?

Don't really fancy fitting a deeper backbox unless if I have to but if I have to then I have to, hence pro's and con's. None of my light fittings are a ceiling rose.

Going with ceiling install with my modules unless I have to do a backbox install which I will have to do with kitchen. This is a light in my office, looks like a spur rather than part of the ring which is worrying.

All fits in the ceiling cavity. I bit untidy but it works. Will do neater installs in the future now I have a better understanding on what I'm doing.

    Those WAGO connectors are great.
