I have 2 HCs and over 70 modules and each of these systems are driving me up the wall. Firmware updates appear to not be possible on modules at all. Firstly I should say that I am confused as to why there's no bulk update feature in HC2 - it just doesn't make any sense for you to udpate each of these modules manually.
In addition I am running 4.550 which I believe is the latest HC2 firmware, and it takes me on average 7-8 times to get one success with a module firmware update. It's not module specific. It's not module firmware specific either - all over the place, it appears to be just not working most of the time. I randomly get the following possible errors - Incorrect Checksum, Frame request error, Device unable to receive data, Update Interrupted - device connection lost, and the most annoying one of all - update failed - update aborted by user... when I'm sitting there waiting patiently for it.
As an additional note: All the modules are Fibaro. I don't have non-fibaro-based devices in the system (yet).
At this stage I feel like ripping it all out. The most annoying part is the biggest install is at a friend of mine's house - he's disabled so living independently without the system is going to be a challenge.
I had a hell of a time the last couple of months before the 4.550 update to add Fibaro modules to the same system as well... it looks like the latest update resolved that now.
If you read this and have any advice that could help resolve the update issues permanently that would be great.
