Retrieve current logged in user in LUA scene

Question

Posted (edited)

Does anyone know if it is possible to retrieve the current logged in user when using the app and starting a scene, or pushing a virtual device button?

For example, I made a virtual device with a button to set the dish washer schedule. When this button is pushed the system checks if the dishwasher door is open, and it sends a push to my wife and my phone when it is left open. I want to send the push only to the person who set the program with the virtual device. So I'm not bothered with the message when my wife sets the schedule (and vise versa).

I have the idea to get the current logged on user and map the userid to the phone id with a table and wrap this in a function.

This used to work

Please login or register to see this code.

but there seems to be a bug in the last version.

You could try

Please login or register to see this code.

but you may get the wrong user if you are both active.

Alternative, different VDs with separate visibility for the users.

Thank you, the first option works with version 4.540 that I'm still running.
