HC2 + DSC Plugin

Question

Posted

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone here can provide any assistance in relation to the DSC alarm plugin, i don't seem to be having nay luck connecting to it!

Have the correct IP address, however what port number should i be using?

Also, in the user code field, is this just any user code already programmed into the alarm? Or something else?

The alarm is a new Hills/DSC XR Pro with full network/Z Wave connectivity, so not a compatibility issue.

Regards Dan

What spec do you have of the DSC alarm?

Is it a Power Series alarm?

What model is it?

Regarding connection options:

Is it a TL260GS or similar? Or maybe an IT100 serial card with an serial to wifi or eth add-on.

@danveedan Did you update your question after my answer? Or did I miss the info of your model :)

I *guess* (not 100% sure though) your alarm is not compatible as later DSC alarms has a closed API (open to a few integrators). Z-wave you say. It could be proprietary as some stuff from Danfoss.

Do you have any more info?
