roller shutter 3 with a 12 volt motor

Amir142

Question

I'm trying to operate blinds on a large window, the motor which controls the blinds has two wires to control the up/down movement, each accept an input of only 12 volts.

Is there a way I can use the roller shutter 3 to control the motor or will it not work with a 12v load?

It will not work.
I've got similar setting, so I'm using Qubino roller shutter DC.
The hard part is that Qubino does not support scene triggers, so in some application it can be hard to adapt...

Or... You can use some special AC/DC converter, but I have no idea how...

You can purchase a 240v/110v to 12-24v contactor. I think Schnider makes one. Depending on the contactor all the positioning still works.
