just home center lite?

How about I want to try the fibaro system, and more specifically for a solution that has to be excellent, but home center 2 costs too much to just do some tests, so I have been investigating and would like to know if the home center lite It can be used by itself or is an extension of the home center 2.
In question, can I use any fibaro equipment with the home center lite? Or do I need home center2?

I ask why I don't understand the price difference between each one.

Even so, despite what I was investigating are another question.

Yes the Home Center Lite can be used as the main controller unit - the reason there is a price difference is due to the specs and what each controller can handle - the Home Center 2 is faster, more durable and has better specs. Have a read through the manuals for both. The Home Center Lite could be used as your starter unit and then if you eventually get a Home Center 2, you can make the Home Center Lite a slave to the Home Center 2, which will pull all the devices through and allow you to start using the Home Center 2 but not start fresh.

You can use Fibaro devices with almost every zwave gateway.

But Firmware update of these devices in not possible without a Fibaro gateway.

Please correct me is I'm wrong.
