RGBW 1 gang vs 4 gang

Has anyone set-up their RGBW with 4x gangs and brightness mode?

I have all my RGBW with 1x gang on rainbow which works well for turning on and off rapidly, but you can't ever access just the white channel from the wall switch and given Fibaro have set them up in a ROYGBIV cycle it is a pain going through ROY to get to BIV... I use BIV colours the most.

I'm thinking of adding 2x extra gangs and moving to brightness mode, but I'm wondering how much of a pain it will be to turn the lights off when multiple channels are on. I can only see myself creating a master switch to turn off all RGBW or all lights as otherwise I imagine it's not practical to turn them off one channel at a time.

Does anyone have experience they can share on this?
