sound/siren: activating by external command?

Hi 

I have a smoke sensor FGSD-002.

Can the sound ( of the internal siren ) be activated by another non- smoke sensor device ? ( eg by association with another device or by a command from a LUA scene)  

in other words : use the siren as an independent device/actor .

 

?the multiple comments about false alarms make me doubting to use the sensor in a standard configuration. ( Ie on its own and generating  broadcasting alarm messages through the Zwave network...)

No this is not possible

It was possible with Popp smoke sensor but after update this option is gone.

You can associate the Popp sensors all together the result will be if one is triggered all will sound alarm
