HC2>Configuration>General>LED brightness:

Question

Posted

Hi!

Can anyone, pease, explain me what is the use for HC2>Configuration>General>LED brightness:?

I can't find description about that option on HC2 manual.

I changed to different values, but my lux measurements don't indicate changes on lights brightness.

Thanks!

hi @puertobahia,

It's the LEDs at the homecenter case.

And the HC forgets the setting on each restart.

    Is there a way to lower the brightness with Lua? It is quite annoying that the HC2 all the time forgets the setting after reboot

    Yes,

    api.put ('/settings/led', {brightness=15})

    The number is a percentage of LED light brightness.

    Could fibaro guys just fix this bug of not saving  the brightness setting permanently. Lua scripts solving this seem to be a little wrong way.

    @savilmik,

    first I also didn't like it. Now I got used to it.

    It can even be useful: when the LEDs are at max brightness I know there was a power outage or unexpected restart of the HC2 ?
