can i link multiple FGT-001 to 1 switch?

Question

Posted

I've to control a boiler with a switch linked to multiple temperature sensors.

With linked device i've tried but the switch toglle on-off-on-off  continuosly.

Iv'e tried with a scene (see image) , both triggers are FGT-001.

There is no way to trigger it with "mode" ...

any idea?

Virtual devices?

FGT001 as triggers will not work.
I have a ceiling fan connected to a Fibaro Single Relay Switch which in turn is linked to a temperature sensor and it works perfectly.

Go to "Panels" and "linked devices" and select "Linked Devices - Heating"

Then enter your temperature sensor and switch.

Create a heating panel with appropriate temperatures.

I haven't tried it myself, but I think it will work. ?

    tnk's for answer.

I've done with linked devices... but with 2 temperature sensor on 1 switch, when only one room need more heating the switch go on (10 secs) -off (10 secs)-on-(10 secs) off(10 secs)  continuosly.

with 3 temperature sensor on one switch with only one room asking for heating the switch go on (10secs) -off (20 secs)-on (xxx secs)-on-on-off(3x secs)-off off....... seems random :-)

and so on adding all temperature sensors...

for this i've tried with a scene.

The question is if there is a method instead of buy many switch, one for each temperture sensor and put switch in parallel to power on the central bolier...

I hope there is a method in the HC programmatically or with a configuration ?

    .

    Bye

    Hi
When it doesn't work then do it with scenes.

Like the scene above, just with the temperature sensors, eg  <22 degrees when it needs to turn on.

You also need to make a scene to turn off. Like the second scene, just eg  > 22 degrees and turn off.

You maybe also need to incorporate a variable, but wait for it. ?

Yes without heating panel. There is also a scene available in the download section called Multiroom heating, I think that is what you need
