Alexa cannot find Yale L1 lock

johnwlawrence88

Question

Hello,

I have the Yale L1 lock with the z-wave 2 module.

The HC2 has no issue in including, getting the status and controlling the lock. But when I do a search of new devices on Alexa, it cannot find it. I'm wondering if its something to do with it being a lock so there's higher security on it or something. Anyone else solved this one ?

regards

John

Hi John,

Did you solve this problem.  I am looking to buy one too with the z-wave module.

I would like to be able to add new pin codes via Fibaro and set them to auto expire after a set time.

Can you share you experience please
