turn scenes on/off

Question

Hello guys 

i need to be able to turn the scenes ON/OFF from fibaro mobile APP ? do i need to make a virtual switch ?

Any suggestions please

No option to enable/disable scene from mobile app.

Yes you could create VD for that,  but can you explain why you need it? May be it could be done automatically by the system.

Again, If you're OK to share info why you need to enable/disable the scene, as I mentioned there is may be auto solution for that. You don't have to.....

Please import attached VD and change scene ID (marked red in picture below) in both buttons.

Hi @cag014,

you coul'd have put the scene number in the TCP Port field, so the user doesn't have to manipulate the code :-D

    i have made a scenes with siren for alarm but i need to on/off the scenes when I need  ex: I am away

    Hi @AlDanafHani,

    You coul'd automate the scene to run only if the conditions are met, like present state i.e. home/away/holiday, or any other condition you choose. You can create a predefined global variable with predefined values, which are tested by the scene.

    Enjoy coding :-)

    Also you can set another condition as an example, only to run siren, when your alarm is armed.

    You can find enough examples of code here on forum.

    Do not hessitate to ask questions if needed :-)
