Hi All,

 

I installed HomeBridge to have the devices on HC2 on HomeKit.

 

It works... but...

 

The Plugins exposes all of my devices.

 

It is possible to expose only few scenes created on HC2 using a not super-user and setting the permissions. But I need to set a global variables (true/false) and only super-user can modify global variables.

 

Is it possibile to change the values of global variables by a non super-user?

Yes, you can do it by giving permission to access scenes and devices when editing the user permissions.

Nope, Non-Super User only can refer the Global Variable.

I have not installed the plugin on HC2.

 

It is a plugin for HomeBridge, not HC2.

i have an issue with homebridge.. that whenever fibaro hc lite powers off homebridge stops working an i have to restart homebridge, then only homekit starts working..

 

is there a soloution where i can restart the homebridge right after 5 minutes of fibaro restart.

Hi everybody,

I found a workaround for the problem of global variables.

I created a Virtual Device to launch the main scene. The VD is then usable by a normal user.

Everything works, but there is one thing I don't like.

The VD doesn't maintain the state: once pressed, after a while it returns to off position, being conigured as push button.

Does anyone know how to reconfigure the plugin' code so that VDs also maintain state, like Single Switches?
