HC2 reverts by itself to default admin credentials

Flix123

Question

Second time this happened now: While doing something unrelated (for example reconfiguring a device), suddenly HC2 locks me out with "Access denied" and subsequent my credentials do not work anymore. But the admin/admin works again. In the Access control menu the superuser credentials I allocated are nowhere to be seen.   Anyone seen this? HC2 4.180

Hi @Flix123 ,

Is there a reason you are still on 4.180? There was trouble with some of the 4.5xx firmware versions but since 4.560 system is working stable again. BTW I had never problems with admin credentials on any of the firmware versions so can't help you, sorry.

  •  I was just afraid to upgrade because i read quite a few reports about the updating process messes everything up, like leaving many devices unconfigured etc. Maybe this is just a small number of people but i thought i shouldn’t  try to fix  whats working :)
Not too concerned about this credentials issue since its not reachable from the outside but it adds some concerns i have about the product maturity.
