Flood Sensor firmware update cause battery drain issue

upgrading Flood sensor from version: 3.3 to 3.4 fail and drain 1/4 of battery.
The result is that after 2 attempts, I have to change the battery and I'm yet with old version firmare.


Any workaround?

Does one of you succeeded in updating his flood sensor ????

Sorry a newbie not really an expert in software.

Just want something that work without spending hours.
