What is a reasonable expectation for temp. range

Question

Posted

Hi,

I have some heat controllers + sensor installed and I have 1 set in a room at 18 degrees (throughout the whole day). Sometimes when I walk in though, it's really warm in there so I went to check on the measured temperature.

I see that the average temperature does move around 18 degrees but it's more of a 17 - 19 degrees range (sometimes even 20+). I understand that the room temperature will vary a bit, but what range should be acceptable? Any other people with experience?

I attached a graph below

Hi,

what I see is my spread is around .5 degrees

Temp setting 22

System start 21.5

Stops at 22

The delta you should be able to set, probably in the thermostat

If there is a lot of movement or none can give a little deviation
