Dimmer 2 overcurrent and blows RCD

RolandLondon

Question

I have a similar but different problem to what some have reported in the past.

I had a dimmer 1 with bypass running 10 3W LED lights fine for years. I recently changed the bulbs to 10 of these:

After the change the the RCD tripped above a certain brightness and HC2 reports overcurrent. So I thought the dimmer was old so I changed to Dimmer 2 with new bypass and I have the same problem.

Is there something unusual about these bulbs? Are there parameters I can change - other than just reducing the maximum brightness, which I don't really want to do?

Hope someone can help,
