Hei,

 

i have a HC lite station for a few month now. I have tried many times without success to get Fibaro polling data from my Netatmo. I followed the instruction, uninstalled the plug in like a 100 times and started again, made several apps in dev.netatmo.com, but nothing works.

 

The only feedback I get is from Netatmo that someone tried to login and that the account is deactivated for 10min. 

 

I need help to solve this problem.

What is going wrong? The password and username is right. I even tried to change the email address, but nothing works

Did you try to use @Sankotronic's VD (I don't know if it works with HCL)

    I have checked it out. But there is written that it is for home center 2. I only have a lite version

    Hi @Paul.w ,

     

    Even I use my Netatmo Weather station VD integration I still have plugin installed because added devices can be used as room main temperature and humidity devices. My Integration is working 99.5% of the time and that 0.5% is when Netatmo servers are under maintenance or have problems or my ISP is giving me trouble with internet connection. Unfortunately as you already found out it is coded in LUA so can't be installed on HCL.

     

    Before you install Fibaro Netatmo plugin for the 101 time do the following:

    1. Login to your Netatmo account and go to your Weather station and check that it is updating data there and there are no interruptions.
    2. While you are still logged in to Netatmo go to

      and then open My apps.
    3. Delete all but one app you added.
    4. Click on that one app you left and check that under main part website entry is left empty. Company name and company website can also be empty but for data protection officer you enter your name and data protection officer e-mail you enter your e-mail address or at least anything that make sense.
    5. Under the App Technical parameters redirect URI and webhook URI leave empty (except if you know what it is for). Here in this section then you have client ID and client secret that you need so copy them to some plain text editor (don't use MS Word because it can add some formatting characters that can also be copied and make username, password, clientID and client secret invalid)
    6. Check that this app is activated and that wehooks have check mark and then save it.
    7. Go back to HCL and install Fibaro Netatmo Weather plugin.
    8. Open Advanced tab of the installed plugin and enter your credentials and clientID and client secret then save plugin. Set pooling time to 300 or at least not lower than 180 seconds. Netatmo Weather station is updating measurements on cloud every 10 minutes so setting this time too low doesn't make any sense and it can lock your account until next day if too many calls to servers are detected.
    9. After saving plugin check on general tab that plugin shows "Your account is connected." and if it does then go back to Advanced tab and click on Get Devices button.
    10. Wait for few minutes and then go to HCL home page where under the Unassigned room you should find all devices that HCL found reported from Netatmo weather station. Now you can open each of added devices and setup their names and room.
    11. If Netatmo plugin ever stop working, and that is possible from time to time, then you can just reboot HCL to restart it or if that doesn't help then you add another app on Netatmo connect, replace clientID and client secret on plugin, save plugin and then reboot HCL and if everything is ok on Netatmo side plugin should start working again

    Remember that it is not always that Fibaro is cause for Netatmo plugin stop working.

    Anyway I hope that this "short" to do list will help to make plugin working.

    I cant delete the apps that I made in dev.netatmo.com. Is there a possibility for that?

    Thanks. I did not pay attention to the time of the survey. Although I have no problem with this, I set it to 300 seconds. I also have additional modules installed, for checking the air quality on all floors of the house (include ventilation of the house)
