Fibaro relay and Came ZA4 gate controller

BusterGonad

Question

Hi all,

Hoping to get some advice on the best Fibaro product for adding to an existing Came ZA4 gate controller (manual attached).  The gate is already configured with remote key fobs to open/close and sensors to detect objects - but would like the addition of being able to automate the opening of the gate (they are on a timer, so will automatically self-close after a set period).

I'm wondering if I can power the Fibaro from the L1 and L2  ZA4 (230V connections, then use the terminals 2 and 3 on the ZA4 into the Fibaro to control opening the gate.  Does this sound about right?  Or am I way off here?!

Any tips/advice much appreciated.

Thanks,

BG
