bypassing manually timer functionality (swithing off a light)

Question

Posted

Hi all,

I have the following situation

I have movement sensor (aeotec) associated with a fiber dimmer (2), turning on the light when there is movement.
The light automatically switches off using parameter 10 (timer functionality for 4m) of the dimmer.

I now would like to have the following:
* I would like to have above setting,
* however in some situations I would like to have the dimmer turn on manually for a longer period (without switching off).

Has anymore solved this before?
- bypasssint parameter 10?
- or did above with scenes / LUA (HC2)?

Hope to hear your suggestions!

Best regards,

Roel N.

Make a new scene (in LUA) that you use when you want the light to be on longer and use the fibaro killscene to "bypass" the old scene. Nb. You need to disable the automatic time setting in the device setup menu.
