Question

Posted

Hi.

Is there anybody who can tell me how I can trigger a Scene in Home Center Lite, from IFTTT Geofencing? My Geofence app in IFTTT is mapped to correct scene in Home Center, but nothing happens in my Scene. I have tried to run the actual Scene in manual, and of course in Auto.  I’ve also tried to remove the proforma trigger, since Geofence should be my trigger, but nothing happens. Of course, I can manual run my scene, just not from IFTTT.

Yes, I can certainly use GPS in the Home Center, but that is not the point of the question.

What is the trick?

    Hi ianakapilotlight.

I suspect there must be something wrong in HCL.  It seems like IFTTT is doing its job, but it doesn't seems like the trigger signal is reaching the Scene?  I have also tried to create new logic in IFTTT that does not either reach Fibaro.  I've sent a question to Fibaro, to hear if there may be something wrong with Software. I use Software version 4.580.

    Hi SteinFromNorway,

Sorry I didn't know you had a HCL model.  The solutions I've done tend to require LUA scripting which I believe the HCL model done not do.

You are right, HCL haven’t LUA. But yesterday night it seems to start working. I made a Google Calendar for start a morning scene, and this is working. A strange thing is that scene starts when the Google event is finished. If I make a Event from 05:00 to 05:05 then the Scene is triggering 05:05.
