push notification badge on Fibaro app

hi,

the count showed on the badge of the Fibaro app ios for push notification do not decrement. one may open the app, the badge may be cleaned. however, once a new push notification occur, the count shown on the badge will be the increment of the previous count and not starting from 0 as it should be after app was opened. this problem may occur only if "localisation" is disabled for Fibaro app. I noted that while  traveling abroad and localisation feature was disabled on my iphone. then I managed to repeat this kind of Fibaro app behavior on my home location as well.  

I have noticed the problem after upgrade to ios 13.3.1 and I don't think it is right to do a confidentiality concession only to have an accurate count of push notifications. Did somebody else notice the same behavior for Fibaro ios app? thank you

I experience this issue for moths now. It's not related to iOS 13.3.1, I also had this with iOS 12. 

But for the record, you are talking about the old Fibaro app and not the new one, correct?

    thanks Kevin for the feedback. In my case it is definitely link to ios 13.3.1. I never activate "localization " for Fibaro app before this ios release. Now I'm obliged to do so if I want to have accurate badge count over app icon. 

    what is the new Fibaro app you are talking about? is it the Home Center?  I dont find this app very handy

    Home Center is the new app, I’m also still not using it but it starts up faster. The new app still doesn’t show the previews of my IP camera’s and also crashes a lot when I use a VD or start a scene.

    I still think that the old app has a better view with all the rooms instead of showing all the room in a list

    I have installed it just to see how does it works but I'm not using it on daily basis. Thank you again for feedback
