On the third party RS485 of virtual equipment

flycxt

Question

Can HC2 carry out protocol transfer of RS485 equipment and how to operate it if necessary? When the virtual device is created, can the key display the control status of the device? If so, what can I do?

@flycxt, you need TCP/IP to RS-485 (like

). Then you need communication protocol of the end device you want to use.

Somfy example (IP to RS-485):

  • Hello, thank you for answering my question! What I want to know about HC2 is whether it has the protocol transfer function of RS485. Of course, I know that it can connect with RS485 equipment. I have a light switch of RS485. When this switch sends a code to HC2, can HC2 convert the received code into the control code of another equipment for control. If it goes through HC2 directly Control the RS485 light relay module, but the panel state of the light switch cannot be synchronized with the light module. I have such a problem. If you can leave your email, we can exchange and learn conveniently. Thank you!
