Upload lua code from a file

Question

Posted

Is there a way to load a scene/lua code from a text/.dat/docx file (I then update the Lua code using a PUT call from a lua scene)?

I am looking for an easy/somewhat automated way to update my scenes when I make changes to the source code (currently I keep versions in a word document - which I then cut-and-paste into the fibaro HC 2 scene)

I believe you are suggesting "notepad" ...(I am OK with my code editor / notepad or Word both work well for me).

I would like to be able to load the Lua code from a file where I have created it in a .txt file from a scene or VD (.dat / . txt  / or any format) ...  ... is this possible?

Is that possible to load data from a file using a scene or virtual device?  I cannot find a command .

Thanks for your help in advance
