Hello, unfortunately I cannot include, exclude or force remove/delete physical devices. Fibaro Support does not respond to calls or emails either. Does anyone know of this problem or can help? I've already done a recovery, but to no avail ...

Thank you so much!

1. Do you have any message about reconfiguration in progress?

2. Do you have any device with status "not configured" ?

3. The problem occurs if you start inclusion/exclusion from web/app or by pressing btton on box too?

If possible check with oldest backup (doing before last add device with susses) , not only with last one. It's possible that on last inclusion process finish with error (in brief the device is work but the process/query is not end properly)

    Hi,

I have restored several backups, carried out a recovery several times, even transferred the config to a second HC2 - without success!

You still have any Fibaro support staff working here? I don't get any response from support! You took a ticket, told me to open the ports accordingly and then you wanted to go online with Temviewer on Monday. Unfortunately Fibaro let me sit completely - I waited, but nothing came from Fibaro !!!

@m.dietrich as i already told you today, if recovered HC2 still does not allow inclusion, nor shows any popus, the Hardware might be broken (or locked), or your PC is Blocking actions (which you already tested with other PC/Tablet). On a broken HC2, the zwave database might get damaged/locked, which will get of course transfered 1:1 to second HC2 during transfer. Therefore i told you already, do recovery and check inclusion on empty HC2 (prefered with "+" button and over the BUI) - base on results we or someone else from FIBARO can decide about next steps - in your case probably to repair the zwave database. You have additionaly bit slow responding zwave, or at least on the broken HC2, check that with zniffer (now or later), this might be another (even if very rare) problem, which eventually endet up in broken zwave database.

Hello Tinman, it is definitely not a hardware defect. I took a 2nd HC2 (completely empty) and included a module there. Worked. Then I transferred the configuration from the 1st HC2, again it was no longer possible to include it. The first HC2 was deleted, then the inclusion started again ... Therefore I definitely exclude a hardware defect from the HC2, and my PC does not block anything. As a result, only the database can be broken. Do you have a chance to fix them?

You should read this post on using a zniffer and optimising your zwave setup:

    Hello tinman,

I have now gone the 'hard way', have made the entire HC again a recovery and restored an old backup with version 4.550. Everything still worked, then unnecessary devices removed and an update made. A few devices that were added in the meantime, everything works again. Obviously, I have carried the error with me since a number of backups, and imported it with every restore ... It was therefore not a hardware error, as I suspected yesterday ... So the ticket (2412) at Fibaro was done ... Thank you!
