Remove ON/OFF from icon

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello, I am new user of Fibaro HCL. I have install a motion sensor that gives 230V on output. The output of sensor is connected on S1 of FGS-223 switch. I change the icon of HLC to motion icon but the problem is that I don't want the ON/OFF buttons to be appeared. Is any way to solve this? i.e. If I can change device kind? etc. Thanks.

You can hide the switch in the advanced tab for the device.

Thank you for your answer, but I don't want to hide the switch. I want to hide only the ON / OFF buttons and show the icon  with moving person as it is.

If that is not possible then can I disable the use of ON/OFF buttons from the application so if the button get pressed will not affect the state of switch?

Check "disabled" in configuration, this will disable the buttons but state will still be displayed.

Thank you for your answer.  "Device disabled" will disable the buttons but also will remove the icon from the mobile app. I want the device to be appeared on mobile application and to be used on scenes.

You cannot remove the ON/OFF buttons... this is a switch and by default it should provide an option to toggle the switch.

No option. Why the ON/OFF buttons bother you

Because its connected to a relay that tells me if the smoke alarms are activated, allowing the on and off button allows this to be firstly overridden and secondly forced into been on. I basically dont want the electronic switch to be able to be operated from the or the management interface, only when the relay is tripped.
