HC3 - Logitech Harmony

gooba

Question

with HC3 logitech harmony plugin is there out of the box. Configuration is simple. But I only see activities, not all devices. Also how do I automate something? In block scene I can't find any way to read the status of activity or start activity?

Any help would be great.

Same problem for me,  impossible to use logitech harmony activity in a scene (as a trigger or to start an activity)

You can activate a Harmony scene from within a LUA scene by using the following command:

fibaro.call(<Harmony Device ID>, "changeActivityState", "true")

In addition, you can turn off an activity by using the following comman:

fibaro.call(<Harmony Device ID>, "changeActivityState", "false")

thats the only way to use the harmony with hc3 but unfortunately the harmony cannot send messages back to the hc3.

if you want 2 way communication then you would need a 3rd party bridge eg ha bridge or automation bridge
