Cable length

FerranBadell

Question

Hello
When adding the UBS module, is it necessary that the length of the cable and the sensor are always the same?
I have added UBE with the temperature sensor with a very short cable, all ok.
When `putting the UBS in its location, with another temperature sensor and a longer cable (1 meter), the temperature sensor reports 0º.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

If you change or add a sensor, you must then remove UBS from the network and then include it again.

Yes, I read the post, but I did not see a reference about the sensor change ...

Thank you very much for your help.

You will find all the information in your UBS manual. In first page"Technical Information", "... length up to 30 meters".
And third page "III Fibaro Sensor start-up", Info note " Every time any changes are made ..."
