Problems with the configuration of the SmartImplant

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello everybody
I would like to separate the inputs from the outputs on a SmartImplant.
This is also possible with my HC3.
Only polling the inputs does not work.
Does anyone have an idea where the error lies?
I have set the following:

+

With this setting, the outputs no longer react to the inputs.
I have now removed the link !?

The devices now show the following:

Please login or register to see this attachment.

Depending on that, the Device 513 and the 521 may not be there.
When querying the device with e.g.
print ("519 Value =", fibaro.getValue (519, "value"))
I don't get a change of state if I connect the inputs sometimes and sometimes not.
Which device do I have to query and how?
I have tried a lot and changed some of the registers but all without success.
Is the SmartImplant not yet functional with the HC3?

Could someone help me?

Greetings F.B.

So the error is found, it is due to the setting of registers 20 and 21 on the HC3.

With the advanced setting not all options are offered that the SmartImplant enables.

Another user in another forum gave the tip to set registers 20 and 21 to NO (normal open) and see there it works !!

Now you can query inputs 1 and 2 with "if fibaro.getValue (515," value ") == true" or false as well as with "if fibaro.getValue (516," value ") == true" or false.

The coupling of the inputs to the outputs, as is the case with the other modules, remains switched off, as specified by the sliders in the advanced settings.

So it is clearly a bug in the firmware of the HC3. Something like that can get you mad!

    My project can go on.

    Greetings F.B.

Let me check if I understand you clearly .

You can configure Smart Implant in such a way that:

    1. You see the state of Input 1/2
    2. You see the state of Out 1/2
    3. You can change the state of Out 1/2
    4. When something connected to Input 1/2 changes state of that input - IT DOES NOT CHANGE the state of the appropriate OUT???

I am struggling  to make the mentioned config for a while.

    Regards,

    Piotr

    @Piotr Bojko

    good Morning

Yes, I can view and switch inputs and outputs independently.
I can also switch the inputs to analog.
But this only applies to the HC3 see the pictures above.
How is it with the HC2?
Sorry that the pictures are in German otherwise you would have recognized that.

    Hello,

After your hints I have dig deeper and check something called Local Protection / RF Protection for Smart Implant. Setting it to "2" gives the result same as yours. Please note that I don't use HC3 nor Hc2 nor HClite :) but OpenHab.

Pozdrowienia sąsiedzie w tych ciężkich czasach :)
