Question

Posted

Hi,

I'm a new user and just trying to figure out how it all works. I have the HC3, keyfob an lightstrip and rgbw controller at the moment. So my problem is I can not seem to get the dubble click to work with the keyfob. So my sceneblock is very simple:

This should work right? But it doesn't. When dubbel tapping the button it just goes on or off. Probably because it is catching the first click which is programmed for on/off. So it does not seem to catch the dubbel tab.

Am I doing something wrong or is it just an other bug in the hc3?

Thanks!

Go to "Parameters" tab of your key fob and check if "Key Pressed 2 times" is enabled on that button.

You have to wake up the keyfob to "read" the changes.

    Waking up the device:
The KeyFob needs to be woken up to receive information about the
new configuration from the Z-Wave controller, like parameters and
associations. Use 1st menu position (white) or click O (circle) and + (plus) simultaneously to wake up the device.

Great, thanks! I worked. Before I tried waking it up with only the O button. I got the message "device waked up correctly" but the setting was not stored.

Indeed the O & + worked. Thanks and I will read the manuals better next time...
