3x rgbw for controlling stairs

Question

Hi everyone.

currently i'm puzzeled with controlling my stairs.

working with HC2 and 3x RGBW controller (all at latest firmware a.t.m.)

I don't use rgbw ledstrips but only warm white.

I'm 'misusing' the controllers to fade-up the stairs, so every step of the stairs  has one single color ledstrip connected to an output

I wrote programs for the controllers

program 1 - fadeup R, fadeup G, fadeup B, fadeup W.

program 2 - keep black (off) ledstrips for the time it takes up to fadeup program 1 then fadeup R, fadeup G, fadeup B, fadeup W.

program 3 - keep black (off) ledstrips for the time it takes up to fadeup program 1 and 2 then fadeup R, fadeup G, fadeup B, fadeup W.

Futhermore there is a blocky scene running triggered by a Pir sensor below the stairs:

RGBW1 run program 1

and

RGBW2 run program 2

and

RGBW3 run program 3

In theory this should work.

In reality this sucks...

RGBW1 and 2 mostly seem to both run program 1 at the same time.

RGBW3 is later as it should be, but way to late to turn on.(it is waiting longer than expected to start fading up.)

there isn't any high zwave traffic currently that could disturbe communication (working for months on it and it never works flawless any time of the day.

Anyone having any tips?
