Question

Posted

Can someone please help me with wiring my Jung 532-4U

Please login or register to see this link.

to my dimmer 2?

so I have a double momentary switch (2 x up/down) to control two different lights (dimming up and dimming down). How should I connect the switches and my lights to the Dimmer 2? Can someone please provide me with a diagram or a clear explanation? I just can’t get it sorted.

thanks

Hi

the diagram below will show you how to connect a dimmer 2 to a 3 way retractive switch - ie dimming and brightening with middle off.

if you have more than 1 switch you will connect the second switch in parallel with the first so multiple switches will be able to control the same light.

Thank you so much, it is clear to me now that I can’t control two separate lights with 1 dimmer ?. I guess I just need to buy another one.

Allow me asking here. Because i need to know since i’m installing a dimmer 2 into my bedroom ,

i have six down lights (Turn-on as one light together once)controlled by One Click double switch. How many bypass do i need ? Do i need only one bypass and one dimmer will do the job?  What about the second button in that double switch!

With six down lights your load will be large enough you wont need a bypass
