Check last cloud update with broken HC2

Question

Posted

Hello. I have trouble with my HC2. It won´t boot with the USB-recovery key connected and im not sure when I did a cloudbackup, if it´s up to date?

Is it possible to find that information?

I actually once could read the USB-recovery from my PC so it´s not broken hardware. I suspect a broken OS/partition table.

hi @storskogen,

the USB Stick is not in use anymore since a lot of versions of the HC2.

You should be able to use your HC2 without the USB Stick.

Of course, if the HC2 needs recovery you will need a Backup from either the cloud or a local disk. Maybe you have downloaded the local backup to a computer?

You should have at least the backup before your last firmware upgrade in the cloud. This is done automatically.

It seems like the recovery-usb now is brooken, could read it once in my PC but now it doesn't show up in diskmanager, I will try to read it with OSX also.

The OS-USB is still readable but I get kernel panic when trying to boot my HC2 and now I can't get into recovery mode anymore.

I found an rescue-usb image on internet but as long as I cant get into recovery mode I can't use it :(

I will try some more things tonight.
