Question
twisted 2
I recently changed a scene that was working and changed it into three different scenes to adjust brightness levels depending on the time of day. However for some reason it is not working correctly.
I feel like its to do with the variables not working properly or its still acting out the original scene (which was completely deleted and system restarted). Essentially the lights come on at full brightness nearly every time its triggered, but occasionally they come on at the lower brightness, but the light that should not come on in those scene still turns on, then 10 minutes later they will come on at full brightness. I assume I am overlooking or miss understanding the rules of fibaro scenes. Over the last three nights i have monitored and made small adjustments but this has not helped. I have a doorbell camera so i know when the lights go on, off and how bright, however it does not match the scenes i have setup.
The devices in question are all outside lights around the drive. Using Fibaro HCL so limited to block scenes.
Steinel flood light (built in module) (as with everyone thats using a steinel xled 2 on the fibaro platform I have never managed to get the motion sensor to report in a usable way, so I am using flood=ON as a trigger)
2 x up/down lights (fibaro on/off)
soffit lights (fibaro dimmer)
porch light (fibaro dimmer)
There are two variables setup with 5 outcomes, 4 scenes for the lights and 5 scenes for the variables.
Variable 1) Dark = Yes/No (I wont post picture as this works)
Variable 2) Drive_lights_time = 10:00-22:00/22:00-00:00 and 00:00 -10:00
Scenes for lights and variable attached, sorry for small pictures, but i had to zoom out to get it all on the page.
the original working scene was the same as the "lights on 10:00-22:00" but no time rule, just dark. The off command is a separate scene as i had issues with not all lights turning off, with the separate scene it guarantees they turn off.
The reason for changing to three separate scenes is so i don't annoy the neighbours late at night, especially when cats walk through the drive every night between 22:00-03:00.
