Get Holiday from Google calender

Hello all,

 

I hope someone can Help me. I want to get the Holidays from Google to have a Scene to Open the windows for another time then normal. But how do I get the Data from Google calender from the api? Because nie you need to authenticate with oauth.

that's right, you have to download it and store somewhere, once per 1-3 years. If there is no other web Server available, the HC2 itself can be used:

- take any PNG (Fibaro Icon for this scene e.g.)

- merge it with your calendar.ics, like "copy /B myicon.png + calendar.ics mycal.png" and uplaod as Icon for your Scene
- change the Code to download the Icon instead of external ics

It matters to me whether Fibaro doesn't want to implement it, or it is technically impossible with current OS version, because it might be indicative for the freshness of the fish and maybe also the expected life cycle of HC2 ?

As far as I know it’s option in option table http module 

cuz my old HC2 emulator with LUASEC still works with this link

it is the http lua lib used in LUA Interpreter on HC2, it could be probably fixed/updated as HC3 have no such issues and HC3 LUA Interpreter is "just updated HC2 Version".

 

Anorther way is rooting HC2 and external libs, which i did 2yrs ago as PoC:

I don't think that rooting HC2 is an option. For an individual yes, but when i think of @Sankotronic UHAS, not all UHAS users will be willing and able to root their device
