High CPU utilization sounds like a problem with code, possibly a routine related to your climate control. Have you tried turning off all scenes?

Untick "start when home center starts" for all scenes. Then reboot and monitor the CPU. When the weather is warm, gradually turn on each scene and see which one causes the CPU to jump.

Off topic, but...

HC2 is the hottest place in our house, and my cat loves his HC2!

Sounds like you have an automation problem that you can solve, by reading the temperature and turning on a small PC cooling fan with a fibaro switch ?
