Fibaro VD to talk to Raspberry Pi running CEC

Question

Posted

Hi All,

Looking for any help of how to create a VD on Fibaro to talk to a Raspberry Pi which is running CEC and happliy talking to my Panasonic TV and Apple TV.

I need to be able to work out how to send the following commands to the Pi from Fibaro

echo 'standby 4' | cec-client -s -d 1

echo 'on 4' | cec-client -s -d 1

Either as an http request or LUA code.

I belive you have to create a listener on the Pi but I am stuck at creating the Fibaro VD and Listener on the Pi

Apologies very limited experience in programming so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Beeker

This listener already ruined on rPI and named is Telnet (disables by default)

1) enable telnet (only for Fibaro ip cuz it’s very unsafe)

2) search by this forum how to send tcp,ip command via telnet

otherwise

install php with a one or nginx on rPI

run this command via php

for VD just call NET.FHTTP
